Yesterday, at Filzek TRIBOTech in Darmstadt, 12 representatives from reputed manufacturing companies and knowledge institutes received training on the latest methods for the experimental and numerical determination of temperature-induced tribological influences in sheet metal forming.
The participants also witnessed a demonstration line in operation, showcasing live the relationship between temperature and friction in sheet metal forming.
The training was conceived by the Germany SME Filzek TriboTECH and was delivered in cooperation with TriboForm and ESI Group, with the logistic support from AutomotiveNL.
